Life

The great tree is a representation of “The World” It’s passive and local, where “Soul” is active and universal. Think of us as monkeys aspiring to godhood. We’re all inhabiting the great tree, climbing around, interacting and struggling, sometimes winning, eventually losing, and falling off, back to our universal roots, to the bigger but vaguer role souls usually play. We are certain that our life in this world is the important part. And we can’t ignore it, not if we want to continue to be here.
