The old lady completes the mystic triangle, with the girl and the woman. I don’t think the terms crone or hag can be used these days. Womanhood changes as the woman ages. This is the classic split, as in the three Fates. Her children grown, she is more free of family ties and uses her talents and wisdom on others. Ideally, she helps them. There is much that she can do or say, but she is more withdrawn from life now. There was a card called “The Moon”. Now there is this one, on another path.
